Persons can correct me here, but at no time did I get the impression that beginners should not post to this list, and/or they should use the list archive to gather information. Instead, the main policy being put forward is that only subjects on topic to using NVDA be posted to the list. It is also encouraged, but not enforced, that persons use tools such as the user guide, internet searches and the list archive search facility to retrieve information, due to repetition of subject matters, which can occur on a daily basis at its worst.

I strongly recommend you re-read those posts as it relates to the policies of the list. As a novice user to NVDA, all your posts about using NVDA are welcomed here, I strongly believe.
