cannot remove speaking of row headings in excel

Cearbhall O'Meadhra

Quentin,

I have pressed NVDA + control + r to set a particular column as the row headings for each row in my excel spread sheet. Each row is separated by a blank row but yet NVDA set all of the cells in that column as the heading for their respective row. This was fine when I needed to hear what row I was on.
Now, I wish to turn off speaking of the rows and find that NVDA will only allow me to turn off speaking the cells one at a time. There are 5,650 rows involved! I don't think I should have to do each cell in turn, should I?

How can I now get rid of the spoken row headings for the entire column?

All the best,

Cearbhall

Hi,
what is bhp? Never heard of it, and the link seems to be invalid.
Best,
Felix

enter it then write code. Press esc to exit it and down arrow to find the

Hi
Read this: https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/python/python-tutorial
After that you can press Alt+F1 to open the settings panel, then search
for accessibility at the search box, and find and press spacebar to turn
on this feature. I'm busy now, and I just did it for once so may be I
didn't remember the correct steps to setup. Tell me and the list if you
have problem with setting up VS code.
