Thank you, that does work.

With Window-eyes, when I hit control+y to select a folder, the number of unread messages is read as I arrow down.  This way, you have to go into a folder, shift+tab then arrow down and the unread numbers works, pretty much the same number of keystrokes, just a slightly different approach.

This I can get used to.

Thanks,

Richard

When you’re in the message list, shift tab once.  You should hear the name of the folder you’re in and the number of messages it contains.

Subject: [nvda] Outlook 2016 and NVDA

Hello,

I just joined this group.

I am primarily a Window-Eyes user.

I’d like to learn to use NVDA more efficiently.

Is there a way to have NVDA speak the number of unread messages in a given folder?  Maybe an addon?

I’ve not found anything yet.

Thanks,

Richard
