Configuration Files

Ed Marquette

In the list of configuration files that comes with NVDA, there is a configuration file called “Proofing.”
It does a great job in identifying various text and other attributes; however, if in Microsoft Word 2013, one uses automatic numbering created by custom-created styles (which I use daily), the paragraph numbers are omitted when reading; however, when reading with the “Normal” or “Default” configuration file activated, the paragraph numbers are read properly.
I suppose the answer to my question is for me to create my own “proof reading” configuration file.
Still, cutting off the automatically generated paragraph numbers seems odd.
I hope that, some day, I can contribute answers to this list instead of just questions.
Thanks for your assistance.
