I've been able to reproduce this issue, though it is not constant. I
usually take all documents out of protected view before reading them to
prevent this from happening. This issue is also present in other office
applications such as powerpoint, in which the issue is much more
consistent for me.

Hello all

Has anyone come across this? When you download and open a word document and it is in protected view, NVDA does not seem to be able to access the text.

The only way I can read these documents is to take them out of protected view.

I am using windows 10 and Word2016.
