Yes, run the regular Avast uninstaller, which generally works.  It shows up in Control Panel, Programs and Features just like any other uninstaller does.   And there is a checkbox which allows you to omit the installation of Avast during CCleaner installation

If you need step-by-step assistance to uninstall Avast if the regular uninstaller fails then please start a topic in the Chat Subgroup, as this topic has everything to do with Avast and virtually nothing to do with NVDA.
