Hi ☺ I didn’t know you could still do that. Without a cd drive my laptop seems very thin and kind of flimsy.

You can still buy laptops with cd drives but I would go with the externals if you can. Firstly there is extra thickness in laptops with drives and its heavier. The drives are fine a bit faster but its not like you use cds daily mostly anyway. The portable drive can be used on many devices.
