Re: Nvda and Total Commander

Hello,

It's a two-panel file manager.

The programme is shareware; you can keep it for 30 days without registering, but it continues to fully function even afterthat - actually forever.

I don't know how much it would cost now. I bought so many years ago...

In order to activate the proramme when you open it, if it isn't registered, you simply have to press one of teh numbers on the keyboard - 1, 2 or 3  which is presented at random with each new launching ofthe programme.

You'll hear:

1 button

2 button

3 button

1 1

for example.

You'll have to type the number that doesn't say button after it, bu is repeated twice instead - in this example, 1 1 = type 1 on the keyboard...

After tat the programme will be fully functional.

It has loads of options, and a considerable number of plugins and extensions, but not many are accessible, so I don't use those.

The Android version is free.

hth, ciao,

Ollie

Hello Quentin,

There are other issues, especially in the forms to set up ftp connections, but those can't be solved, apparently.

Hi Jarek,

I'm not familiar with the program, but if NVDA is working everywhere except for announcing these two buttons, it sounds like the developers of Total Commander has simply forgotten to label them.  The easiest solution is to contact the developer of Total Commander and let them know and request they please label those two buttons.

Kind regards

Quentin.
