Last night someone posted the question, "Have you locked it?," to a thread I had said I would lock if it were extended.  I believe that this was really to check if it was locked.

I cannot for the life of me recall what bounce message an e-mail user gets if they attempt to send a reply to a locked topic.  So I'm creating this topic, and immediately locking it.  If you want to see what you'd receive back were you to reply to a locked topic, then reply to this one.  I know that a message does come back from Groups.io, but don't remember what it says.

Since I use primarily the web interface, and can see, there is a small lock icon in front of the topic title and no option to reply when reading it.
