Re: Numpad Issue With NVDA And Thunderbird

I don't know what is causing the problem.  But using a different command should solve it.  You should be able to have the word you are on in the document spelled by just pressing numpad 5 by itself.  That Is the equivalent of spell current word even though it is defined as spelling the current navigator object.  One press will say the current word.  Two will spell it.

Subject: [nvda] Numpad Issue With NVDA And Thunderbird

Hi Group,

I am not quite sure when this started--probably with the 2019.3 update,
but now when I am in a Thunderbird message and I want to try to
highlight a word in an open message and check the spelling, when I press
insert + numpad 5, NVDA says: 'blank.'  This also occurs in the subject
field and the other header fields.

Has anyone else noticed this and is there a work around?
