[nvda] To Those Requesting or Sending Logs
This is my follow-up to Nimer's request that this not be done on-group, as it's easy to both request and send these off-group.
For the vast majority of folks receiving their group messages as single format there is a link, "Reply to Sender," at the bottom of each message. When activated, a new message should open up in either your webmail or e-mail client with the subject pre-populated with the word, "Private:," followed by the actual topic from the Groups.io conversation [which, of course, you can change].
Correspondence sent this way is entirely private between the two parties involved, and occurs out of sight of the list. Once whoever starts a back and forth using the Reply to Sender link it stays as a private e-mail exchange between the two parties (or whoever else they might add via adding to their To, Cc, or Bcc fields).
The person requesting the log may want the whole log as an attachment to the e-mail message or copied and pasted into the message from the person they've asked to send it. It makes sense to specify which you prefer when you make that request for a log from someone.
