Re: Forcing NVDA Find versus Browser Find

If anyone experiencing this is willing to, what might really help here is a copy of an NVDA lot set to debug level.  If sent to the list it will need to be in the body of an email, or you can email it to me at info@... (with a brief description please, so I know what the log is about!).

Kind regards

Quentin.

I'm not 100 percent positive, but I think i have seen this once or twice in browse mode. I usually toggle between the two modes then it works for a few weeks and I normally forget about it until it happens when I don't want it to, like when I edit a stream title, look for my briefing, search for something on froogle, etc. I think I've seen this on discord actually but like I said, it happens so rarely, I can't really begin to recognize a pattern.

I will sometimes have this issue on twitch and even sometimes google and most websites. I think this might have started with nvda 19.3.x.

The question needs more discussion.  Is this a problem with new versions of NVDA, perhaps after the change to the new version of Python or has it been going on for some time?  and is thisw a very limited problem or more widespread?  Also, does it only affect Windows 10 users or other users?

Chris,

As someone else said recently, there is a certain comfort in knowing that a given issue is not limited strictly to yourself!  Thanks for reporting.
