Enhanced Touch Gestures 20.07 is now available. Notable changes include support for NVDA 2020.1 or later, a keyboard command to toggle touch interaction or touch passthrough (depending on NVDA version), and deprecation of coordinate announcement beep and other changes.
IMPORTANT: Enhanced Touch Gestures add-on is applicable if:
You have a touchscreen computer running Windows 8.1 or 10.
You have NVDA 2020.1 or later installed on this computer (will not work on portable copy).
Also, the following features from the add-on are deprecated and will be removed in an upcoming release:
Coordinate announcement beep (hear where your finger is when you move around the touchscreen with your finger)
Touch passthrough (temporarily turn off NVDA’s touch support for up to ten seconds)
In case of the latter, the command used to enable/disable touch passthrough (either a custom command, or starting with add-on 20.07, Control+Alt+NVDA+T) will toggle touch interaction in an upcoming add-on release.
As always the new version can be downloaded from community add-ons website or via Add-on Updater.
