On my system when I first bring up Thunderbird and go into
the addon manager it shows this addon as being checked not
unchecked. It still acts like it would if it were unchecked
though. I still have to uncheck and recheck it to get it
working. Very strange.

Hi
Group,
The quick key folder navigation is a Thunderbird add on not an
NVDA add on. What I have noticed is that since a recent update of
Thunderbird that some how the use quick key folder navigation
item becomes unchecked under Thunderbird settings/add on manager
after you close Thunderbird. You have to recheck the check box
every time you launch the program to get it to work again.

I notice the folders list does not speak
after TB updates. I go to add-ons and check Quick Folder Key
Navigation and make sure it is working and enabled.
I don't know why it says "loading" all the time.
I have TB 68.12.0 (32-bit Windows Version 1909 NVDA 2020.2
I hope TB doesn't mess up when I get Win 2004.
Here are the details from that screen:

installed Thunderbird version 78.1 along with the quick key
folder nav addon. Still having issues with the addon working
as it should.
