You don't need an add-on.  That feature is a convenience feature, but all

you need do is press f6 and you will move to the address bar with the

address in it.  You will hear a lot of unnecessary speech if you just let

the screen-reader read.  Use read current line and the address will be read.

Use control c, the standard copy command, to copy it to the clipboard.

Use shift f6 to return to the page.

This procedure is standard for all the popular Windows browsers I've used.

 

The enhancement for Mozilla products has many abilities that are real

conveniences and time savers.  This one is a convenience, but a minor one.

You will be able to use my method with almost as much efficiency as using

that feature.
