Hi Mike,

This is not so much an NVDA feature as a Word feature.  You could try setting the view mode to "Draft" (alt+w, e) rather than the default page layout (alt+w, p to get back to page layout).

If you want all the footnotes in the one place in the document, do you maybe want "endnotes" instead of footnotes?  They work essentially the same, but they are grouped at the very end of the document, rather than at the bottom of each page.

NVDA will say “footnote area” and then say “document” when it returns to the actual document being read.

 

Is there a way to have NVDA either:

Skip the footnote portions and continue reading original doc,
or,

Is there a way to group all the footnotes together so that NVDA can go from one to another?

 

Please advise as you like.
