Re: Sort of resetting NVDA screen buffer/app module in normal applications

Hi
According to the help User Guide, there is this facility:
10.5. Reload plugins
This item, once activated, reloads app modules and global plugins without restarting NVDA, which can be useful for developers.

Although not mentioned here, NVDA+Ctrl+f3 appears to run this function.

Cheers
Chris

Subject: [nvda] Sort of resetting NVDA screen buffer/app module in normal applications

Sorry for mentioning this, but, in a manner similar to how you can reset jaws scripts while using a piece of software, is there some way to sort of reload the NVDA app module for a specific piece of software while using it, or to, at the very least, do something similar to NVDA-key +
F5 in a web browser, to reload the on-screen buffer, etc.?

Asking since, for example, at times, while writing a message in thunderbird, it seems like NVDA loses track of the contents of the message thus far, and while occasionally, alt+tabbing away, pausing momentarily, and then alt+tabbing back to the message will help, generally, the only real workaround seems to be to unload NVDA, and then reload it.

TIA
