Re: NVDA and web browsers' accessibility

Hello, Sharad. I use Firefox as my primary browser. I like it. What I
do find, though, is that sometimes 1 particular browser works better
on a specific website than another does. Some of my reading is
speculating that there might be a memory leak in Firefox when
accessibility services are enabled in the browser, but this seems to
be pretty speculative, ie, some say their browsers work better w/it
off, others say there's no impact, and surely we'd be seriously
affected by doing so.

On another totally unrelated note, I wonder if you know my friend
Nhuchhe Maharjan? He's also from Nepal. Yeah--I know--you can't
possibly be expected to know every blind guy in Nepal, but I was just
curious nonetheless.

Hello. All of the Web browsers you mentioned work well with NVDA. In the
past I have noticed what I consider to be serious stability issues with
Firefox where Firefox would randomly freeze and it was necessary for me to
close it from Task Manager. However, as I no longer use Firefox on a regular
basis it's possible that these issues may have since been addressed and it's
also possible that some Firefox users never noticed these issues. If privacy
is important to you I would highly recommend Brave.<>
Brave uses the Chromium engine and so it is very accessible with screen
readers, delivers excellent performance and contains many settings to
control your privacy.
