I think I missed the ;part of your first message where you discussed Firefox.  I thought I had read the whole message but evidently, I didn’t. 
 
As a general comment, I’ll say that this thread shows the importance of having a nonChrome-based browser on a machine.  Chrome, Brave and Edge are all Chrome-based browsers. 
 
I have firefox on my machine in ;part because it isn’t a Chrome-based browser.

Only browser that will allow you to log in is firefox
