Being the manager of a radio station, I have found that NVDA remote is the only really accessible way of remotely controlling a computer. I’ve tried most of the remote access software out there, and they all either have serious limitations, or just don’t work at all. Team Viewer sort of works in a pinch, but NVDA remote is the only software I’ve found that allows me to do everything I need to do, and does not require some one to be at the sight of the remote PC to let me in. I sometimes provide technical support for a sighted friend of my wife to assist her with her computer. Today she asked if I ever used LogMeIn to provide remote assistance. I’ve heard of this software but am wondering if anyone has ever tried using it with NVDA and if it is accessible? If it is not are there other remote access solutions which are recommended. If the NVDA Remote addon is my best solution I’m willing to install it on her machine but I wanted to see if other mainstream solutions were equally accessible.
