control+alt+n is the quickest way (or simply "starting" it any other way, eg from the start menu).

You can also press NVDA+Q as if you were about to quit NVDA, and on the exit dialog, press down arrow to choose "Restart NVDA" or one of the other options such as "Restart with add-ons disabled".

Kind regards

Quentin.

Yeah I removed mine. I don’t need that shortcut. So I just quickly restart nvda like I have done for I am not sure how long now.

I also thought the shortcut is ctrl + alt + n. I answered in an exam. Although the examiner didn't provide correct answer, his attitude was like my answer was incorrect.

If you have no shortcut such as I, you can type nvda in the run dialogue and it will restart. I’m sure you can also create a batch file as well to accomplish this.

Hi

Use the default Control+alt+n or whatever shortcut you have assigned to the NVDA icon on your desktop.

Cheers
