Re: NVDA and thunderbird

I was wrong.  Include layout tables is still available as a setting.  It is in the browse mode settings.  I was only looking in the document formatting settings.  I assume it means,if checked, that you will be notified when you come across a table used in formatting a page and as I said, the table in question isn’t a layout table.

Why do you use such a cumnbersome way of checking a message?  You could read by line if you want to move by segment through the message.

Running the latest released version of NVDA and Thunderbird on the lates
version of Win 10.  After typing a new message in thunderbird I use
control left and right arrow to review what I have typed.  As I do this
each word is spoken up until you get to the last word at the end of the
message and at that point NVDA only says the first letter of that last
word.  No big deal but kind of strange.
