Hi

It sounds like you have either the Clipspeak or Global Commands Extension addons enabled, these cause the OCR addon issues, so try the clipboard selection after disabling them.  The next version of the OCR addon will put recognised text into a text file, so hopefully, the problem will go away.

Ask since, if, after having made sure some of the text is selected, I

try to invoke copy to clipboard on result document, it tells me it's

copied the file to the clipboard, and, no text is in place on clipboard?

 

 

This is with version 2021.1.07 of add-on?
