Yes, it does get interesting.
Thing is, you are able to turn on sleep mode, but, then, you can’t use any NVDA command to do anything, like save the current profile so sleep mode stays on. So, a profile won’t actually accomplish this.
Seems like there was something I could do, relating to the Python console, or some such, but, I didn’t archive it. Hmmm, though, I might search the list archives and see if I can locate it.

Well, it gets more and more interesting with regard to Sleep Mode. After a little experimenting, where I used a specific Notepad window (one of the three I have open) where I put NVDA to sleep with NVDA + Shift + S (Desktop keyboard layout):
