I didn't see any reference in the app essentials that mentioned Auto ducking. Then, how did that get on my computer if I didn't do it? As you know, I am pretty new at this computer biz, I don't know where I'd even go to find something like that.

I did a search for Auto Duck v 3 RC 4.1 and found nothing except maybe something related in what looks like software that may be specific to a certain sound card or a third party utility or a third party addition to Windows. And it is very unlikely that the Windows App essentials add-on would have such a feature. The purpose of that add-on is to provide support for features in Windows for which support hasn't been added in the core and that don't work well otherwise, not to add features that have nothing to do with this purpose.
