I 2nd the recommendation of SwitchSynth since it gives you more than 2
languages in case you start running across French or Italian, for example.

Admittedly, I'm not familiar with the first suggestion, though.

SwitchSynth has been serving me quite well as an American working in
Germany on pan-European projects. You never really know what language you
might need.

Or does this require an add-on? My programming experience started with
FORTRAN and didn't get beyond Quick BASIC, so Python is a mystery. And
obviously, being severely vision impaired makes things even more
challenging.
