Hi
the following web page from off my web site should point you in the right direction. it can be found at http://www.accessibilitycentral.net/how%20to%20install%20additional%20nvda%20components.html You can jump down by headings to where the speech hub package one is and just under neath that is where you can get the sapi 5 version of eloquence and vocaliser voices etc
hope that helps

I am referring to the code factory ones. They are more updated, and have more voices. Thanks.

Re: Deleted file recovery software
Gene
I don't know how well Recuva works for most
people. I have had little success with it though there's no harm in
trying.
However, if the files were on your machine at the
time a restore point was made, if you are using the default settings, the files
will be retained by shadow copy. I won't go into how to find them in this
message because I don't know how long they were on the drive nor do I know if
you have System Restore active. I also don't know if the procedure is the
same as mine since I don't know what version of Windows you are using.

Wow, there's a sapi version? Now, that's something
that I didn't know. Where would one obtain the 64 bit Sapi 5
version?

This doesn't work, if you have the desktop shortcut key for NVDA set

as the default. You would need to change or remove it. Try that and report what's happening.

Re: Remote NVDA relay servers?

Firstly, are you running this server yourself, and
do you have root access to it?
You say it didn't work, but what happened when you
tried? Do you get packet loss if you try to ping the server? Do you have DNS
properly set up, not just on port 80, http, but throughout the whole server,
and, finally, are you allowing both inbound and outbound traffic through the
firewall, and are you allowing the correct ports to be opened on both sides to
accept the NVDA remote connection? Remember that just because you have a
website, doesn't mean you have all things configured to run the server. It's not
quite that simple as just putting in the domain of your website and immediately
expecting it to work.

Hello, This product remains outdated, and we have seen many promises of updates to come. I would recommend you use the sapi version instead, as it is more updated. Maybe this other one will be updated and prove me wrong.

Google Docs with Nvda
Jorge Gonçalves <joport3@...>
Hi all,
I have to start using Google Docs for some group works in my university. I was reading through the help section for screenreader users specially Nvda. So far it looks great. But I have a problem. It says that if I want to move to the next heading, I should do Control+Alt+N and then H but it doesn't work for me. I do it but it doesn't work. It simply writes an H. Does anyone uses Nvda and google Docs and have some suggestions' Thank you, Jorge

I believe you simply set up the relay server on an IP address which is

reachable by both clients, connect to it from each client, and then the fact that both clients log in with the same key sets up the communication between the two. Antony.
