in which program do you mean? you can read diacrritics in arabic for many programs by left and right arrow keys like letters. i mean that you can use microsoft office word, wordpad, notepad++, firefox and internet explorer both letters and diacritics by left and right arrow keys. but unfortunately, using windows notepad, libreoffice and openoffice, you cant read diacritics by left and right arrow keys and only letters are accessible.

how to read arabic superscripts
Umair Ijaz <umairthescholar@...>
Dear listers,
I would like to know whether there is any way to read superscript in arabic text? the superscript which tell us how to read the word. fatah, nasub , jur, or zair zabar, paish are the technical names of those superscripts. I am reading Holy Quran and I am not an arabic native so i want to occasionally know the superscripts on the words. the sighted can see them in the text but there is no way for me to read it. kindly tell me how may i read them. i have enabled all punctuation but it is not reading. is there any special command for that? waiting anxiously. thanks. -- www.umairijaz.com "A Person who won't read has no advantage over who can't read"

Re: Deleted file recovery software

I don't know who says you need a third party
utility to see the old files. That is not true. it may be easier to
use the utility to get access but I can open the old version of any folder and
see all the files. I'd have to review the interface to see just how this
is done, but I was able to copy a file to the current folder. That is in
Windows 7 home. It would be completely illogical for Microsoft to have
Shadow Copy and make it inaccessible to users of this or that version of
Windows.
If a statement is made by someone, a program
designer, or just someone discussing something, it should be treated
skeptically.

ShadowExplorer Since the Volume Shadow Copy Service is included, and turned on by default, in all editions of Windows Vista / 7 / 8, why not take advantage of it? All it takes is an additional tool like ShadowExplorer, that can access the shadow storage and make the point-in-time copies accessible to the user. Features •Show available point-in-time copies •Browse through Shadow Copies •Retrieve versions of files and folders Limitations Shadow Copies and ShadowExplorer are in no way a replacement for regular backups! NVDA And Antivirus Incompatibility
Hi good people:
I've come to realize that the NVDA screenreader our wonderful software, is not compatible with antivirus software. I've tried several antivirus software on my system, and they appear incompatible with NVDA. They make browsing extremely slow, and oftentimes, shut down the screen reader. Sometimes I am taken off the site totally. I've tried the avast antivirus software, marobite, microsoft essential and avero. All are the same. Is there a solution to this problem? I don't have this experience when I use the demo version of JAWS for windows. In order to use NVDA conveniently, I've had to remove the antivirus software I have on my system, and after browsing, reinstall it, and this can expose my system to attacks. Looking forward to reading from you chaps again. Thanks and cheers. From Ibrahim in Nigeria.

Thanks for the info re Piriform Recuva. It’s a friend of mine who’s accidentally deleted some files. I’ve downloaded the portable version for her and also loaded the desktop version on my own machine. I’ve had a quick look at the interface and initial impressions re accessibility are very favourable. I’ll report back when she has tried the recovery.

Hello, Recuva was accessible at the time I used it some years ago. Any write operation now has the potential to clobber that file, so you better download the portable version to a thumb drive using another machine then run it. Kind regards, Felix Grützmacher

using this program is a mixture of using the tab keys and arrow keys to get to different parts of the program. Usually when you hear radio buttons i think it is you can then tab down the list or in some cases use the arrow keys they seem more like tabs, then you get to the one you want then tab down the list. Some of the check boxs you can not check or uncheck they are like default boxs. Others that are not you can.. I am just using the free version of it and mostly update it and scan but know enough to navigate it and use the different things i might want to use change etc. Gene nz
