Hey there, moti,

Nice to see you here! Thanks so much! The reason why I prefer a 6-dot table is that I need to use it with a virtual braille keyboard in Android. I'm perfectly happy with the one NVDA has for use on my pc; in addition, a friend added Hebrew, Russian and Greek to the Italian 8-dot tablea few years ago, and that's quite handy! Thanks for your advice. Ciao, Shalom, Ollie

If there's a literary Hebrew braille table in Liblouis, that's fine enough. I need it for the Soft Braille Keyboard in Android, but would also love to have it in NVDA. I'll see what can be done. Meanwhile, thanks so much for pointing me to the table. Ciao, Ollie

Ollie,

First, I don't suggest you to use 6-dot Hebrew Braille table. But if you still wish, you can go to the Hebrew 8-dot Braille table, copy it and save it in another place. After that you can paste the copy to the documents and then you can open it with Notepad and edit it. You have to delete the 7 and 8 dots in the HEBREW SECTION. Then you can save it and replace the original 8 dots. I hope it's clear. Moti

I would greatly appreciate it if someone could send me a portable version of FireFox 52 through Dropbox or some other means. I would also be grateful for a version of Webvisum which works with it. Thanks in advance.

Yes, anyone can read through the issues without needing to log in. You only need to create an account if you want to post an issue, or comment on an issue. Creating an account is free. Kind regards Quentin.

Re: Multi-User-Dungeons and NVDA
Travis Siegel <tsiegel@...>
Nothing to optimize. NVDA reads the text coming across the screen just fine. If you don't want to see everything, then use a client that has gag capabilities, then you can repress certain text strings, so you don't see them. Most muds also have various settings you can use to cut down on the amount of spam you receive, especially during battle. Nothing special needed to mud using NVDA, it works just fine.

If so, is there a way to optimize NVDA with a MUD Client to read the text as it scrolls in the game? Thank you for any advice.

Re: Curious... best version of Windows 10 to use with NVDA
Gene
You don't have to presume. It would serve the
person better to answer both questions or the one that is more likely the
intended meaning. I consider the interpretation I raised to be the more
likely meaning. Others may consider the other to be. But based on
the answers, no one answering appears to have considered that something else
might be meant or if they did, they appear to have considered unlikely and not
answered in that way. Thus my comments, intended to stir other
answers. If the person is getting mail as a digest or is busy or can't
look at mail for a day or more after asking the question, wouldn't it serve the
person to answer both questions or at least have some people answer one
interpretation and some the other? Thus my earlier comments.

any number of ambiguous questions. If that's not what the original
