Depending on wihch keyboard layout you're using: Laptop layout Reading continuously is NVDA+a; Desktop keyboard is NVDA+DOWN ARROW.

Lino,
That is exactly what I'm referring to. I think I'll download JAWS and give it a spin with iTunes if you say it does good with NVDA.

Re: Suggesting several features for GoldWave AddON

Hi,
Before I can work on this: for those using GoldWave 5.70, can you confirm if
Alt+1 through 9 are native commands? If not, I'll support that version
(I'll be using 6.x for most of my development). Also, for those who'll be
attending NVDACon 2016 in April, remind me to demo that feature (I'll host a
session for users of my add-ons to have a chat with me).
Cheers,
Joseph

Sadly I tried awhile ago today, while having several files opoen,
Alt+numbers but no go, thus maybe it has to do with the Shark's scripts?
thus could this be implemented somehow into the GoldWave AddOn? AT
least for me, it's a timesaver to quickly switch between for instance,
Fil A and File B without having to perform the Control+tab command to
switch between these; OH and when you do Alt+1 to go to File A, Focus
moves to that file; Alt+2 for File B and focus moves to that one, thus
that's why I say it's a timesaver!

Re: NVDA2016.1 questions

Dan it doesn't need an add-on. JFW and System Access works fine with it. The only thing that bothered me and is now fixed is the refreshing in the iTunes Store and Apple Music. Now for NVDA to quit freezing out of nowhere in said areas would be great and Michael and James to get on it before 2016.2 comes would be awesome!

I haven't used iTunes in a while so couldn't tell you what is happening, but
the last time i used it. it worked well with NVDA 15.4 and iTunes 12 or
whatever the latest one was. It would be nice to have an auto run feature
for the portable copy of NVDA. I tried creating one and it would only auto
run in windows vista. Next project maybe would be to create an NVDA stick
that you can carry with you and it can just start talking as soon as it is
plugged in.

Chris I think you are referring to the freezing of iTunes 12.03 when you are looking around in the store and Apple Music? I am still dealing with that here in 2016.1. I thought this was resolved, but it is not.

I tried this in the latest snapshot, but it was hit and miss. The mail app quit on me and I got the NVDA piano error sound. I opened it up again and it read fine with NVDA plus downarrow. I don't want to keep screwing with it till it is working 100 percent in 2016.2 or later.
