look for the following settings under the browse mode settings called Audio indication of focus and browse modes and uncheck this box, then tab down to the ok button then press the enter key.

instead of sounds now you will hear browse mode and focus mode that is what all of my machines are set to.

Speaking of Windows 10 App Essentials: If I heard some sources correctly, there is a chance that another feature might make it to NVDA soon, a feature that, if it comes to NVDA 2017.3, will be a game changer, particularly later this year.

Microsoft Word add-on was one. Also features of a program called vTurbo were also added. Windows 10 App Essentials add-on gets some features added to NVDA every release.

I think the Profile Dictionary add-on that is being circulated will also be incorporated into NVDA. The Phone Operation Helper add-on has similar features to those in Next snapshots. There are many more.

Yes,

I am using the win10 mail app great with NVDA. I use it all the time, along with the calendar and people apps. Also, the Skype app works great with NVDA. The news app works 90 percent with NVDA, also, the One Note app works pretty well with NVDA. I use the Weather app with NVDA a lot, and Store of course. The win10 Store works very well with NVDA. I will do tutorials on some of these apps if you all want.

Having a issue where I hit the letter e to move to a edit box on a web page and it says the edit box is unavailable.  However I can hit enter and still enter a value in the edit box.  So it is saying it is unavailable but it really is.

This is with the latest version of NVDA on a win 10 system

The problem is observed on the sams club auction site when moving to a edit box to enter a bid amount.

able to get rid of the family of windows.old directories which had
