Give us exact and accurate reports of what you tried to do and what error message you received and we may be able to help you. In answer to your question "why do you need to pay?" I personally am deeply impressed and grateful that NVDA itself and the Espeak synthesiser are available at no cost. Asking for even more without paying is unreasonable. The people who put in the effort to create software, voices, or anything else can ask whatever they want in return for what they've created. Some people ask for nothing, and that's splendid, but you can't just expect everyone to do that, so there are some things which do need to be paid for. That's life. I've just installed a copy of codefactory elequence
expressive
ad
on for NVDA, and I am starting with the trial version.
The program has been properly installed, and I've gone
through
the settings. But I cannot find the program in the
synthesiser
sub-menu of NVDA.
Please can anyone help me understand what could have gone
wrong,
or
what I didn't do properly?

The eloquence in the add on you are trying has lots of
annoying
artifacts.
The SAPI 5 Eloquence sounds as it should. You can get a
demo
of
that version as well. If you have problems finding it,
asking
here
should get you the information.

I see no indication of that and he has had plenty
of time to say so. If that is what he wants, if he says that's what he
wants, I'll apologize and withdraw my objections. but if that is what he
wants and he says so clearly, he doesn't have to ask off list. Asking on
list how to purchase the product will bring plenty of help in how this is done
or where, on the web site, this is explained.

I'll agree it's a little weird that he is asking
for communication off list, and I could see where that would raise red flags,
but, he's not directly said he wants the software illegally, so though it may
seem that way, clearly english is probably not his first language. Could we
maybe have a wording samantics problem going on here? I admit I've not seen the
whole thread, although I've seen three fourths of it, and haven't seen anything
to indicate completely what his over all intentions are.
I'm not saying what he's doing's right, but I'm
neither saying its wrong. I'm only saying in his defense, I don't know that we
have enough information to be assuming. I can see where it seems suspicious, but
we really truely don't know. Do we? Just my two cents worth, and, for the

As early as sometime next year. Although some add-on writers had a debate as
to whether the add-ons community should move towards Python 3 now, it was
agreed that we can't stop this and eventually will need to move on. I'm
taking proactive steps at this point - one or two of my add-ons are Python 3
ready.

Lets just hope not too many older routines are removed from the new
versions of nvda. This will allow writers, for example someone writing
an app module for OEE Classic to piggy back on the old OE app module
and this may well be the case for other routines that may be redundant
but still used by an add on on the web site. Somebody will need to
keep an eye on this in case it makes an add on unusable on future nvda
versions when the original add on author is no longer around to fix

ending support for old Windows releases, I (Joseph Lee) would like to
announce that two of my add-ons will be ending support for Windows XP
by end of this

* GoldWave: The next stable version (planned for later in September)
will be the last version to support GoldWave versions earlier than
5.70. A version planned for early 2018 will require GoldWave 6 or
later on Windows

SP1 and later (64-bit only).
* Resource Monitor: a stable version planned for early October will
be the last version to recognize Windows versions earlier than
Windows Vista due to newer psutil releases being incompatible with
Windows XP and Server 2003. A version to be released in April 2018 at
the latest will drop support for Windows Vista and Server 2008.
I will provide links to download last supported versions of these
add-ons that'll work on older Windows releases. As for other add-ons,
it'll depend on ability to use features from old NVDA releases.

The SAPI 5 Eloquence sounds as it should. You can get a
demo
of
that version as well. If you have problems finding it,
asking
here
should get you the information.

Re: Making Partition Using NVDA

If there's a way to resize partitions with built in windows
tools, I sure never learned about it. The only way to make one
partition two partitions is to delete the existing partition, and
create two of them, which wipes out everything on the drive, and
leaves you with two freshly formatted partitions both of which
will be completely blank. This is fine if you don't care about
the contents of your hard disk, but if you're trying to simply
split a single partition into two partitions, then there aren't
any ways to do this with just default windows utilities.

Unless you have a program that can resize partitions, you're
not going to be able to change your partitions without loosing
everything.Paragon has a couple programs that can do this,
check out http://paragon-software.com and
take a look at their partition manager or their hard disk
manager depending on how much you want to do. Both programs
aren't 100 percent accessible, but they're close enough to get
the job done. If you're willing to help out, let me know,
and can give you my affiliate links, but if you just want to
purchase the programs, that's ok too.

demo

that version as well. If you have problems finding it,

Could it be possible that his trial ran out, and
he's wanting to get it forever, therefore is asking the process for how to pay
for a license?
I'll agree it's a little weird that he is asking
for communication off list, and I could see where that would raise red flags,
but, he's not directly said he wants the software illegally, so though it may
seem that way, clearly english is probably not his first language. Could we
maybe have a wording samantics problem going on here? I admit I've not seen the
whole thread, although I've seen three fourths of it, and haven't seen anything
to indicate completely what his over all intentions are.
I'm not saying what he's doing's right, but I'm
neither saying its wrong. I'm only saying in his defense, I don't know that we
have enough information to be assuming. I can see where it seems suspicious, but
we really truely don't know. Do we? Just my two cents worth, and, for the
record, this'll be my only message on this topic. OK. Enough said.
