I would like to thank Nimer Jaber for the honor of being selected as a moderator. 
I am not yet acting as a moderator but at the outset, I want to make what I consider an important point. 
 
When I am writing as a list member and not sending moderation messages, I want and hope that list members will treat me as they always have.  That is, list members may feel as free as before to comment or disagree with me when I write as a member.  When I write as a moderator, then the rules apply for dealing with moderation matters but I see the two as completely separate.  I have the impression that on many lists, moderators may be treated differently even when they are participating as list members and I want to assure the list that I don't want that to be the case with me. 
 
I am looking forward to working with Nimer to keep the list running smoothly and to help the list meet the needs and concerns of NVDA users.  I look forward to serving the list.

Did any windows updates install last night? The problem is often when somebody has removed office and then the updates update bits of affice a few months on and screw up the registration again. Is there a fixit for this on the Microsoft site?

This has been discussed either here or on another list I follow. It is likely that, for some reason one or more dll files have become unregistered. if your system restore is on and working and you have recent restore points, you may want to try restoring the system to a time before the problem started. But before trying that, there have been instructions issued on registering the file or files.

Here is a discussion that may or may not solve your problem but in the course of the discussion registering certain files is discussed.

I've just used it to record screencast demo's of some forms of web-page interaction, or to sort of help some sighted guys understand what am talking about, but, seemed to record video capture of whole screen, including PC's audio output, etc.

But, haven't tried anything like live streaming using it, if that's relevant.
