Hi Brian,
I would have said:
1. Switch to brows mode.
2. Hit nvda key + f7.
3. Set the radio button to annotations.
4. Navigate the tree view.
However, I created a foot note and tried this without success. It is possible that I am not creating the foot note correctly.

Hi, I found Nitro difficult to download and impossible to install, and the Oxillion Document Converter software, another recommendation that I got has worked for me. Thanks for the suggestion all the same! Thanks.

Re: Visual Studio add-on.
Ok, think have fixed those/the relevant errors - was my own mistake since used a regular expression search/replace to strip out line numbers when copied python script source from the gitHub page, but, think have now fixed all the missing number values on line endings.
Still not rendering too much to me - file menu, new, project, and it tells me it's the new project window, but, doesn't render any of the internal controls in it.
Stay well

Re: Issues With Number Processing or Display On Creative Labs Web Page
Hi Group,
I almost never used Internet Explorer. I tried this number issue
on the referenced page with Internet Explorer 11 from Windows
8.1. It still shows the same misrepresentation as does NVDA, but
for some reason, a number of synthesizers pronounce it
differently. With punctuation turned to all, you hear a price
which using individual character (left/right arrow keys) movement,
shows the same for example, $16.99 reads $16999. However, the
voices/synthesizer say (spelling this out for clarification)
dollars 16 ninety nine.
This is interesting and I'm afraid I don't have the technical
knowledge to determine just what is happening.

If the price seems to high, you may try to manually add in the

GAH, I hate Speech Platform! No matter what I do, they won't pronounce the "n" in my name! I have tried every possible combination of letters in the speech dictionary to get it to say my name, but when I try it's like "LOLNOPE still gonna mess it up". And Espeak, with the inflection at max, is what I've been using for four years now. Admittedly, I stick to the Linda voice, as it's the best female one in my opinion, and the male ones sound a bit jarring on max inflection sometimes, but it's still much better than Speech Platform or Mary TTS or Newance or Ivona. I don't want flat voices, especially when reading fiction with NVDA. And I don't use super-speed, but stick with the default rate of 30. Much faster and it becomes unintelligible.

I find the American eloquence voice to be
good. I have listened to the Brittish voice and the accent souneds like
someone trying to imitate a Brittish accent. I therefore believe that the
Brittish voice was developed by speakers of English who are not Brittish and who
are giving their impression of how Brittish English sounds. It doesn't
sound as they represent.
As an American, I very much enjoy hearing people
speak Brittish English. I used to listen to the BBC regularly. But I
find the Brittish voice annoying and inauthentic. I therefore don't use it
where I might use it off an on for variety and pleasure if it was an authentic

However, they are in the PDF format, which is something that I dislike and find navigation laggy and inconvenient in. Therefore, I am in search of a simple and accessible PDF to Word conversion tool, that will accelerate the process instead of copying and pasting from PDF files to a new Word document. If possible, I would also like a software that could combine or merge PDF or Word files, as I have an individual file for each unit or chapter which is not what I ideally desire. If there exists a technique to quickly merge or compile the various chapter files in the required order, that would simplify things too. Sounds like a good place. Telling it off the top of my head. Cannot check it on the machine I am writing now. But, getting back to my oryginal problem: how can we turn off reading item possition in the Intelisense popup? And then hearing all th etime the window title when we leave the popup after picking the function / whatever object...?

The devenv.py is invluded by default with NVDA.
The new project wizard is quite OK ofr me. I am using Windows 10 64-bit. Or maybe I am skipping some elements without knowing they are on the screen since NVDA is not getting them either.
I like VS for the Intelisense support, which is very convinient in comparason to Eclipse. You just start typing and get the list of suggestions without dancing by pressing Control+Space as it happens with Eclipse.

NVDA has the opption of not reading item possition information. Can we apply it to individual controls?

I am not familiar with Python on the daily basis, but can find someone to fix the code or do it myself if the changes are minor and can simply follow the documentation and do little trial and error.

This is not a firefox issue. It occurs when
using Chrome as well. I haven't tested with Internet

I've started this thread as I want to say something specific about this. To me at least this sounds very much like Eloquence UK English, so those out there that seem to have issues with the paid for version of that synth, might like to test this as a compromise. Please lets not have more my synth is better than yours threads here. I'm merely stating an opinion, and it only reflects how my ears perceive it. Brian

I am wondering if anyone else is having this problem. When I visit the below web page on the Creative Laqs site, I get oddities with the prices for the various products. For example, many of the prices are ridiculously high such as $16999 for a set of small portable speakers. When examining it closely, it seems these figures are deleting a decimal point and replacing it with the first digit after the decimal point. So the above example should actually read $16.99. This has happened a number of times over the years. Here is the page.
