It looks to me like sometimes the file name is being messed up somewhere
along the line as the actual address I see it looking at is.

I wonder failing all of that if there is a keep alive setting in WGet
where it will just keep trying and resuming until the download is gotten,
or you can try it from a remote box via ssh somewhere and then download
it from there later.

I just tried getting the snapshot with sea monkey and doing it manually
and i get the following message below.

Even if it does start downloading it dies shortly after.


It seems to do it in all the browsers not download but other sites will
let me download stuff.

No problems with the internet or going to the snapshots page etc it is
say when you go to either update the master snapshot through the help
section it goes up to the server and then you press the enter key on the
save one to download it it is just not downloading from there server that
way and even if you go to the main page where the snapshots are and click
on the file to download it you still get the same result. Some of the file
might come down maybe 400 k or so some times more but never the whole
program.


The anti virus is not stopping it either. I have also tried different
browsers still the same result.


It seems to be wanting me to retry the download all the time so is not
downloading from the snapshots page but no problems any where else for
downloading.

I doubt it. There may some problem in your area or in your part of the
country that is interfering with Internet communications between there and
the server. there is no reason that different servers would be used.

Nar no matter which browser you use and which way it is just not coming
down. I even tried it on the next snapshot and the same results.


I also did it with either the save link thingy in mozilla fire fox and
what ever the others are called as well.


it is weird how you and some others can get it but not me. I used to be
able to get it every week apart from this weekend.

is the servers playing up? For the last couple of days i have been trying
to download a master snapshot and each time it comes down it is only about
540k. Is the server playing up? for when i go to click on it up comes a
security smart screen I think it is the windows one.


I am also wondering if things have changed like it is a stub then it gets
the main file? I am guessing not.


I usually like once a week to see what might of gone into it each week.


Has any one else had the same problems?


This was doing it from inside of the master snapshot under the help

I only have problems because installation was corrupted.
some uninstallations left behind ...

and I had some serious issues to uninstall office 2007.
the solution was the microsoft fixed.
God, my NVDA does not read anything in the system menus. just saying unknown!
now it's all fixed!
no more office on my pc...

can't unless you want to be increasingly unable to do things you do

As far as playing audio files, Chrome does play audio. I don't
know if it plays what you are trying to play. I don't know what
you are having problems with but please don't state things as
though they are facts based on only your experience with an
unfamiliar program. It's perfectly alright to say, I couldn't get
it to do this or that. That doesn't mean it can't be done.

as my language is persian
and did not find and there is no one offline program for reading
pdf files in persian language except chrome, i decided to download
chrome.
i realy did not like it,
its less accessible than firefox in using settings.
i could not change it to not update automaticly, dont play audio

I recently found out CodeFactory is selling a package containing Vocalizer expressive sapi voices that will work with any screen reader.
I am using it right now and have tested it with both Narrator and NVDA. So far, everything is working great.
I especially like the User dictionary.
Unlike the Vocalizer expressive and eloquence for NVDA, from what I've read, you can supposedly transfer your license from your old computer to a new one if it updates.
If any of you are interested, ATGuys is the one selling the product. It's 115 dollars, but keep in mind, it does allow you to use the voices with any screen reader. When you compare it to the Sapi voices for Acapela that cost 299 dollars, it's a pretty good deal.

I did some web crawling. The pro version has identities, so not sure if that
is something you want, but I would comb through all of their news section
( https://www.oeclassic.com/news ) to see what features have been added. The
free version is on 27 now. 28, the more accessible version, will be free
when the pro version shoots up to 29. I can wait. No big deal for me, but I
think it is a one time payment? And you get upgrades for life? I'll have to
look at the website again though.

I'm quite new at these things but I tend to go a bit against the grain. What would happen if you just used it and ignored the mumbo jumbo about sanctions. Will you really get into trouble if you use the adobe suite? Why not just use it and ignore everything in the licence agreement, or use a proxy and pretend you are in the US. I do this when I need to shuttle my internet trafic to another state or country when my ISP is doing somethingn I don't like I'd say just use the software and don't worry about getting into trouble.

As far as playing audio files, Chrome does play audio. I don't know

plays what you are trying to play. I don't know what you are having
problems with but please don't state things as though they are facts
based
on only your experience with an unfamiliar program. It's perfectly
alright
to say, I couldn't get it to do this or that. That doesn't mean it
can't
be
done.

as my language is persian
and did not find and there is no one offline program for reading pdf
files in persian language except chrome, i decided to download chrome.
i realy did not like it,
its less accessible than firefox in using settings.
i could not change it to not update automaticly,
dont play audio and video files which i want to download.
openning files after download etc.
so, i wished to try other browsers based on chrome like chromium and
slimjet.
did any of you test these browsers?
are they supported screen readers?
do they the problems that i mentioned for those, i dont like chrome or
not.

I think the final killer of Outlook Express will be if the IE display code
is totally replaced by Edge code in the future.

No.  They have worked on a method for backing up data so that when you
reinstall the program, you can put the data back.  I don't know how
comprehensive the data backed up is nor do I know whether it is considered
to be in its stable form or if it is still a beta.

Yes, this has happened to me more than once.  When windows 10 has a major
update it removes OE.  But this is the third version of OE that I've
downloaded.  Perhaps they've found a way to lock it in now?

the issue for slowness in firefox 52.6 i think its because of spectre
bug fixed in this version.
i read in some websites that the patches for fixing spectre bug,
causes slowness in previous windows and older hardwares.
