The stream plays a little of a file and then refreshes the buffer in the browser or player but the entire file is never available. Just a little bit ahead of where you are listening. Mosilla AddOn troubles not allowing me to get into the Contact contex menu
Gerardo Corripio
For those of you who use the Mosilla AddON, I can't seem to get into the Contact's Context menu via Shift+NVDA+1; it takes me back to the folder in which I'm in, instead of bringing up the Context menu frmo which I can interact with the contact (add him/her to my contacts list, EMail him/her directly etc). I've restarted NVDA just in case, but still the same issue.

Re: Blindspot is a windowless spotify
Again, blindspot can be downloaded from this link, right here. It is accessible with NVDA. It has no GUI or window. It is controled via the keyboard alone. It allows you to use Spotify. There is a manual on the page too. Read it to get a better idea of how it works. You may need a premium account though.

Re: Debug JavaScript for Developer

Hello
toggle quoted messageShow quoted text
I use the Browser console in Firefox. Press Ctrl + Shift + j to get there (you might have to enable development tools to do this, I can't remember). After the first time you launch Firefox press Alt + r to remove initial warnnings / errors. Then tab to the desired page and press f5 to reload. I use console.log to debug in my code. I found the Web console tool more difficult to use as the errors are on the same page and I found it not reliable to navigate easily back to the actual document part of the page. As you said the dbugging facilities in firefox are not usable. I usually live the browser running, change the code in the page I want to debug, reload the page with f5 tab to the Browser console and it works reasonably well (I don't like using a debugger anyway). For javascript code that does not use the DOM like perhaps some calculation, I use the node.js framework and debug from the command line. I am going to give it a go with Visual Studio, not for javascript but for TypeScript which suits what I want to do better. I hope the above is useful. Regards Isaac

It's not just in the UK. Microsoft is in the position, starting with XP, that they built reasonably mature operating systems and, aside from security and convenience features, it has to do what is done in mature capitalist markets, that is create a desire for things people didn't know they wanted before. So the emphasis in Windows 10 is to get people to pay for and use all sorts of Microsoft services and to drive payments to Bing, by making it the default search engine, etc. But a lot of people, businesses and institutions won't upgrade despite the new features and the services that are more convenient to use with Windows 10 or are not available in earlier versions of Windows. Looking back, this sort of thing had to happen. It happens in all mature markets. Once you stop selling necessities, or really useful fundamental services, you start selling increasingly less central services and products and you try to develop a demand for them. That's why Windows 10 is free. It's not the operating system that is the point. It's getting it on as many machines as possible. It's as though cars somehow became so cheap that they could be given away and more money could be made from selling services related to the car. Most people I know are on windows 7 and that includes most of the people who work for the NHS in the UK as well, so I think although here we may suggest that windows ten is the way all should go, many companies and organisations are reluctant to break what is working for them and blind people who work for them will have to use what they have. Like XP which is still in use a lot in the UK, I think the hype over windows 10 is much over the top. I think that while they keep moving goalposts about many admins will steer clear in case it mangles already running systems. However that is my own opinion, and I'm not entering into a my screenreader is better than yours thread on here. Brian bglists@... Sent via blueyonder. Ie changing things and putting out releases with no advisory to the screenreader community of a big change in the system. we have seen it in Skype recently too. Somebody over there at Microsoft needs to get a better grip on changes that affect access software and not merely assume narrator is all that matters. Narrator is still too slow and clunky to use every day. I was going to get a windows 10 machine but until they stop messing about I'm sorely tempted to stay old fashioned! Have they lost that Jenny whats her name from the accessibility management who seemed to do a good job before? Brian bglists@... Sent via blueyonder. Hi
as far as i know i have not heard of one.
There under the add on manager section after installing golden cursor locate the add on in the list then tab to the help button. There will be all the commands on how to use this add on.
Just break it down into small section to see which shortcuts do what. It is a neat little add on you can drive the cursor with the arrow keys and alot more as you will find out when having a play.
