Actually you will find it on the snaps page as the latest snap in the rc branch, its also on its own page so if you still have a copy of the old rc2 from the last time, say a portable version as I have it will download when you run that version.

Its not just builds of windows, Even windows ordinary updates can get delayed I notice even on windows 7. I have no idea what logic is used, but it may well be that they limit traffic to the servers so the downloads when they happen are not too slow.

Re: Keyboard shortcuts for Libre Office writer
JM Casey <crystallogic@...>
Yes, same here. I’ve just been trying out Apache Open Office over the last few days. I have mS Office 2010 on this computer, but it’s good to keep one’s options open, and there are some things I already like a lot about OO – must admit that even though I don’t hate MS’s ribbons as such, the classic menus are nicer.
I was thinking of taking Libre for a spin as well. Too bad if it isn’t quite accessible. But it sounds like you still recommend it….
From: nvda@nvda.groups.io [mailto:nvda@nvda.groups.io] On Behalf Of Robert Kingett
I am kind of amazed so few people have heard of OO and LibreOffice. OpenOffice is far more accessible with NVDA than LO, but LO can take code directly from OO if they want to use some of the same accessibility information. LO is a better program overall. It can even give you the ability to work with documents within Google Drive without using an add on. I'm also kind of amazed more NVDA developers are not working as closely with OO and LO as they do with Microsoft Office, but there you go. Their wikis are very good if you want some more in depth keyboard navigation.

Dear NVDA community,
The following is considered a major change as it’ll affect everyone who chooses to check for and download new NVDA updates:
As of March 28, 2018, a change has been made to how NVDA will present update notices. This change, now part of master snapshots (beta-level), will require you to adjust how you respond to update notices.
Specifically:
Old behavior:
New behavior:
The ability to postpone NVDA updates will be made available in NVDA 2018.2 (May 2018 at the earliest). Thank you. Cheers, Joseph

Important advisory and plea: wxPython 4 is offline for now
Dear NVDA community,
As of March 28, 2018, wxPython 4 is no longer part of NVDA next snapshots due to compatibility issues and others. Based on data gathered during testing phase, I and NV Access staff will continue to make refinements to our support for wxPython 4.
Upon evaluating this situation, I (the chief investigator for wxPython 4 compatibility) believe more community involvement is needed going forward. Hence, the following will be done:
For users: do not think this is something you can just pass by. Your feedback regarding wxPython 4 will have a massive impact on NVDA experience for others going forward.
For add-on writers: make sure your add-ons are compatible. As add-ons are now an integral part of a user’s NVDA experience, we want to make sure our add-ons are working as advertised.
For NVDA Core developers: please keep wxPython 4 in mind when you write GUI code and others having to do with wxPython features. Keep your feedback coming.
Thank you. Cheers, Joseph
