I was just told by Microsoft that is was in existence but no longer supported and therefor not available for download from them.

I tried to reproduce also but was unable to get a list of items to read the items twice. I probably should know this but were the list items also links?

I believe that NVDA does on occasion set focus to the location of the browse mode cursor and I am wondering if perhaps that might have caused double speak. I did also try routing the mouse to the list I was viewing and that also did not cause additional speech though I would have expected possibly a bit more speech than I encountered.

I did also notice that at least in some cases if you request the next list in Edge  with the “L” keystroke that NVDA will sometimes read every item in the list. I don’t believe this is the behavior in other browsers.

I just reproduced the steps you described.
I looked for the beginning of the newsletter in pressing the H key.
Then NVDA started reading.
When it came to "heading 3 New Features"
NVDA started to announce there was a list with 7 items.
Nested lists were also read correctly.
So I don't understand what can go wrong with your experience.
Pressing l to reach this list let NVDA read the list, but nothing is repeated.
So I am sorry I cannot help more.
Did you try to restart Edge and / or NVDA?

This sounds like a good idea, to be honest. Most of my dictionary entries
are related to either Pokémon, names of characters from a couple other
anime, and corrections to help Espeak handle compound words (to be fair, a
lot of these are not usual compound words, but sometimes there were
non-compound words rendered as such as well as the other way around). Some
of these are personal to me, and someone not in the circle of
Fanfiction.net that I was in would not have occasion to use them. There
are names I've tried to get as close to accurate as possible, and sadly
failed and aborted. I do not know how to naturally stress a syllable via
regular expressions, so cannot get "Gallade" pronounced correctly, as an
example.


That said, most people using NVDA have different synth preferences, as
demonstrated by previous threads on this topic, so the synth being used as
default should be noted when compiling the lists of Dictionary entries.
But this would be a great resource to put together.

The last time I brought up this issue, I was told this is how these words
sound when spoken by humans, but I would disagree. Not to say this doesn't
happen, but it isn't lingered over the way it is in the current release of
Espeak ng. In previous versions, the transitions between these words sounded
natural enough to my ears, and this version over-emphasises the velarisation
to the point of it being unnatural.
(Note: I do not type "one" like that, but I had to alter spellings to
simulate the pronunciation issue as clearly as possible to another blind
person.)

What keys were you using to read the bulleted list? Read all, extended arrow or numeric keypad arrows. (or perhaps (i) for going to the next list item.

If Chrome uses browsing history to determine visited links, then if
you clear it, if  you use visited links in navigation, they will no
longer be available.  Also, if you constantly clear browsing history,
you'd better hope you never want to return to a site you didn't book
mark and don't have the address for.  You may well be able to find the
site with a google search or in some other way, but browsing history
is an important feature.
Sometimes, stopping a problem is worse than having the problem.

This is what I found on a forum site:

1. Go to the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar
2. Activate Settings
3. Activate Show advanced settings
4. In the Privacy section, deselect the "Use a prediction service to
help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar" checkbox

Keep in mind that the address bar shows matches from your browsing
history, in addition to predictions. If you don't want to see matches
from your browsing history, you must clear that as well.
Beyond that there is nothing more you can do. It is either all or
nothing. You cannot modify the behavior of how you dismiss
suggestions. Suggestions and autocomplete are the same service.

In addition, someone mentioned that it was apain to have to clear
browsing history all the time to stop the auto-complete behaviour and
suggested using incognito mode which doesn't preserve browsing history.

How fast are you typing?  If you either type quickly or turn off
speech, you
won't hear anything.  You likely know this but do you know that

Well, this happens from time to time and has for the past few versions.  Since it is I will include the log snippit in this posting.  This happens most often when I press the windows key while in Thunderbird but I have seen it in other apps as well.
