The settings for customizing your homepage and new tab page in Firefox have been added to a new Preferences section that can be accessed from Firefox at about:preferences#home. Re: FireFox Issues Discussion

Noscript works fine in quantum now. You pick it and have to wait like a second because the stuff that used to be in a submenu comes up kind of as part of the web page. So you right click, pick noscript, then I usually just arrow up or do ctrl-home, and you get to stuff that shows up as links and radio buttons and the like.

Re: Talking about Tor: Is there any tutorial to use the programme?
Gene
You don't have to use it on the dark web nor with
any unscrupulous sites. It's intended use is to allow people who want to
browse and make it vary hard to be tracked to do so. You can open any site
you wish. It is especially useful, from what I've read, for people living
in countries where the Internet is censored. You can see sites that are
censored because you are using the server Tor provides and not using your
Internet provider's server. It is also much harder to track
you.
Don't be frightened by the negative comments in
this thread. Read the information on the web site and of course, if you
want more information or to verify what you have read, there are all sorts of
places to find information. I'm sure Wikipedia has a comprehensive article
about the Tor browser.
Also, I'll put the version in my Drop box account
that I was talking about earlier today. I'll do so either tonight or
tomorrow.

What version of Firefox are you asking about?
The options dialog was changed when Quantum was released. if you are still
using version 52ESR, the instructions are very different.
If you are using version 52.ESR, open tools, then
options.
Tab once to get into a list of categories.
Down arrow seven or eight times to advanced.
If you get stuck and can't move beyond a certain category, up arrow once then
start down arrowing again.
Once you are at advanced, tab two or three times to
general.
Right arrow until you get to updates.
Tab through and look at the options.
The option about determining how the browser will
handle updating is a list of radio buttons.
After you set it, there is no ok button.
Changes take immediate effect. This is actually a web page like interface
that looks like a dialog. So do whatever you want as though you were on a
web page and want to go to another page, shut down the browser, whatever you
might do while on a web page to leave it and close the browser or do something
else with it.

Re: single key command for paragraph by paragraph navigation
Jonathan COHN
Ah yes, of course but for consumers of content, JAWS enables the P keys to be used for paragraph navigation quite easy to remember and also easy to type. Of course, JAWS oly allows this command in the equivalent of the browse mode in NVDA.
It seems that this request comes up on a fairly regular basis, and there must be some way that NVDA enables control-arrow to function in browsers, so perhaps this could be easy to implement for browse mode???
So the questions to answer for this are:
Then perhaps we can stop seeing this question on the NVDA mailing list on a monthly basis!
