Hi all,

I have installed the code factory eloquence voice on my GPD win 2. I have 2 days left of the trial of eloquence. At the end of it, do I have to buy the eloquence voices? Or do they revert to a free version of eloquence? I have eloquence on my other machine but I never paid for that as it shipped with my laptop when I purchased it. So am not sure about this.

Well I certainly haven't gotten a hacked version of it. It's probably the sappy version which I assumed I could still get with the latest version of NVDA by that I mean a clean install.

Not really, There were sound alikes around that worked as sapi 4, but they have issues, and there was a hacked version which was buggy which we cannot discuss here for legal reasons.

How to use imo with nvda?

Hello, I installed imo to my laptop to connect with my friends as it is the most popular aps at present. But I can not use imo with nvda as nvda does not read all of it's contents. Even, I fail to receive any call. Is there any solution?

Re: an accessible way to stream games.

That's actually quite easy, well kind of but you need to fight with the twitch website to get your key. I save all o mine in a file for future reference as those never ever change and I hide said file by the way.

By the way I contacted the twitch team in regad to accessibility and others have as well, but they don't know what I'm talking about or don't care which is sad.

Take care

Brian, earlier I googled extra one core voices and one of the links said you'd have to make a registry entry and that changed my mind of exploring it any further. Thanks for the info, I'll just stick with what I have presently.

The way you get OneCore voices is by downloading Language Packs.  Settings, Time & Language, Add A Language button.  Be certain that the one you're choosing includes text-to-speech as one of its features.  I added English for UK, Australia, and Canada.  This will also result in a new control showing up in the system tray that allows you to switch keyboards related to the languages you've downloaded.
Now, as an aside, using the dictionary to control this is a cinch for just MP3 or mp3.  The regular expression would be [m,M][p,P]3
Though you would, in all probability, need to follow the 3 with the character for whitespace.  If you wanted it for MP2 or MP3 then the last bit would be [2,3] or [2-3] as both the enumerated list and range are equivalent in this case.   That's the power of the regular expression, and if you wanted it for both then you'd capture that last character so that you could use it in the substitution regular expression.

Brian, How did you get the extra one core voices? I don't remember off hand, but I think I only have maybe 4 choices.
Still using
Windows version: Windows 10Ver1803 (64-bit) build 17134.472
Thanks.

Fast startup should not be checked, because each time you shut down your computer, it will only hibernate rather than really shut down. When you boot your computer again, it will bring back the last state instead of doing a fresh start. This doesn't apply to restart, only to shut down.
