I found this out some months ago and just disable or enable as needed.

Rob I get the same thing you have sometimes. Right now I’m running the latest Insider build. So far this is not happening. What I’d do is link your inboxes. I have Spectrum/Time Warner Cable which is my personal address and my Gmail which I use only for email lists. Its all in one inbox. HTH.

Hello, I don’t have those symptoms with Office 365 and I’m a full time excel worker. From my point of view there are 3 other criterias that gives Excel and NVDA a poor experience.

I’m using an Acer laptop with the latest version of NVDA and Windows 10 with Office 2016.
NVDA stops talking while I’m working in Excel. It goes well for a while and suddenly NVDA just stops functioning. I tried to restart NVDA with no success in an effort to restore speech. Is there a way to resolve the matter?
Kind regards

I have been very naughty with my add ons and marked up all the manifest files as o.K. till the next version comes out. OK it might bite me in the bum, but one gets fed up of reviewing add ons every time one downloads a new alpha snapshot. I have not touched the ones in my main stable copy so come the next version of nvda it will still flag any issues.

I think, though it can be instructive to look at processor usage generally of what is running, just in case a misbehaving program or service is the culprit.

Its not much good trying to fix an issue by loading the processor more. Though its unlikely to do harm, its only on a very slow machine that any fiddling of priorities might result in a change.
