Not much, yet. But the Xbox one can do a lot more than just video games... mostly streaming video from Netflix and such too.

Not on an xbox. The xbox does have Narrator, though.

It's amazing they left that redring of death as an issue for as long as they
did. That was a major deterrant in renting one of those things.
Hey, can you install NVDA on an X-box?

Blackboard6 was that I used at university the only thing that didn't work was some of the assignment submition and review stuff.

Then it went through a patch where accessibility was poor.

Now there a few more new laws and rules, and while people still make inaccessible stuff, it seems to be good if people at least the big companies try at least.

And a lot of tools have abilities to make things accessibil and even encourage it.

Well google and android, it works ok, apple the same.

Its my view that microsoft never got it right.

The keyboard is for windows not touchscreens.

Now where I have had to use the mouse with something I can, but some stuff is really quite hard to do, I mean the blind can use touch and mouse in windows but its far from easy to do.

Now that doesn't mean you can't use it but its a bit owneriss right now.

You know, come to think of it, what is the point of a touch screen on
a laptip? THats what the keyboard and mouse are for.

If you are viewing a map on a laptop and you want to zoom in, ir you want to highlight somethingn on the laptop display and take action, then a touch screen might be good. My mom uses her touch screen on her laptop for her job to zoom in on maps etc.

I'm also not going to apply even though some might want me to. I'm going through some heal stuff, and my heal comes first. Who ever is chosen, will be better than me anyway, I hope.

Good luck to all.
