Adrian, I was typing about redirection and append commands at the same time you wrote your message.  You are correct about the clipboard. You just use the pipe command with the word "clip" after it, e.g.,

                              dir /? | clip

and the output goes straight to the clipboard for pasting elsewhere.

Is it possible to have the speech dictionary only focus on a particular app? For example, in some emails there are  greater than signs (>) indexing each line. I don’t wish to hear these so I go into the dictionary and have it pronounce the greater than sign as a space. On the other hand I need to hear that greater than sign when I’m coding for html or studying material that teaches it. I guess I am asking if there is a way to make a dictionary specific to a particular application?

WP is practically ready!

Bring some more patience, we are arranging the documentation and translations.

Unfortunately, some translators are no longer reachable, and I count on the work that Noelia has proposed to do with the automatic translation system; will have a lot 'of work to do because WP is very well documented, this is one of the reasons that I have always avoided the automatic system, but we will see how Noelia will solve this thing, I rely a lot on her.

In a few daysI will update Weather Plus and it will be better than before :)) then Noelia, when she wants, can insert WP in the translation system.

That is essentially what I did. I added all the music in the "Music"

folder to the iTunes library. However, I want to sync only particular

albums, and it's not letting me do that. I checked the box that says

I'm not able to install windows 10 1809. I created bootable pendrive through Rufus. But when I select removable disk in boot device, computer shows no bootable disk is found. What can I do?

All this doesn't teach people how to review the screen and if you are going to use the Command prompt to any extent, you need to know how.  I hope those who know more about this will write more. 

 

it appears to me that if you are in object navigation mode, you can use the regular review commands, numpad 7, 8, 9, move left by line, read current line and move right by line, to review what is on the screen.  4, 5 and 6 are left one word, current word, right one word.  1, 2, 3, are the same but by character. 

 

If you want to move to the top of the navigator object, use shift 7.  To move to the bottom, use shift 9.  In the command prompt, the entire screen is one single navigator object.  So shift 7 moves you to the top of the screen and shift 9 moves you to the bottom.

 

To move to the beginning of a line, use shift 1.  To move to the end, use shift 3.

 

I believe these commands work when expected in the DOS prompt but I've only tried them a very few times.  But all these methods of piping output to a file, while useful at times, are really often ways to get around basic knowledge of NVDA, which is useful in many contexts, not just this one.

phone and am not getting far with trying to find my way around it. All I
will say is that navigating in it is just like on the I Phone not windows
