Well, my question was related to nvda, if the new windows works with the current nvda or will there need to be an update to nvda first?

Subject: Re: [nvda] latest new windows

There is a "new Windows 10" coming approximately once every 6 months, like it has been since July 2015.   These are known as Feature Updates and bump the Version Number and Build Number for Windows 10.  The next Feature Update is currently scheduled for May (moved back from March) and will have Version Number 1903.  The page at Microsoft to check, and which is kept constantly up to date, with regard to the Windows Release Schedule is:  https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-10/release-information

Now, after having answered that question completely, I'll also declare that it is entirely off-topic.  The answer to the one question members should ask themselves before posting to this list, "Is what I’m about to ask related to using NVDA directly to accomplish something, using a specific program with NVDA, or to control NVDA itself?," is unquestionably, "No."

The Windows 10 for Screen Reader Users is a great group, and you'll find me there as well.  For Windows 10 questions I suggest joining it, and here are the addresses:
The group home page for that group is:  https://win10.groups.io/g/win10
and their group archive, which is open to the public for review and searching, is:  https://win10.groups.io/g/win10/topics

Honestly, if there's a group dedicated to deal with something, unless the other one is a subgroup to deal with another subject on the same topic or something like that, I don't see any reason why people would want it to be this way.
However, they seem to be happy with it, so who am I to disagree?

I’ve never used this particular one, but this seems to be the case with other media players too, like Winamp and Foobar. All have a lot of skin options available; most of them seem to break accessibility somehow.

Marcio,

Both Gene and yourself are way more in-tune with the scene surrounding e-mail lists (or at least strict e-mail lists, not a hybrid of list and forum like Groups.io) than I am.

It's interesting, and sometimes unpredictable, as to which lists are still active and where.   It becomes even more difficult to figure out when multiple lists dedicated to the same subject matter area present themselves in one place [there are at least two JAWS groups on Groups.io].

Hi

When you unzip it there is a folder within it that you will need to locate I think it was called google capt cha extension or some thing like that. it needs to be done to that folder not the one before. Otherwise you get that message. So when you go to find it say if you had unziped it onto your desktop into a folder then when you go to browse through it with google  then that folder needs to be the one you do it to.

        Hi!

I just wanted to announce that I'm now releasing a Chrome
        Extension for automatic captcha solving.

You can download the extension here:
        http://www.screenreader.ai/download_captcha_solver.html

I'm a sighted machine learning researcher that recently have
caught an eye on the field of web accessibility.

Websites are primarily designed to be interacted with
visually
which is hard to do if you have a visual impairment. Here I
think there's big potential for AI to help and look at the
web
page visually and then give correct and helpful information
to
the visually impaired or blind user.

I'm also the creator of the newly created but fairly popular
NVDA add-on, "Image Describer", can be found at NVDA add-ons
list, (if you're interested in trying out):
        https://addons.nvda-project.org/index.en.html

I'm looking towards doing much more than this, please contact
me or reply to this thread if you want to get help with
something accessibility wise or have any kind of feedback.

using a high-contrast Windows theme.

PotPlayer is generally accessible. The only main thing that is not
accessible now is the playlist editor, specially the list of items in the
playlist. Previously it was accessible. From what I've read on the PotPlayer
forum, the inaccessibility was caused by the change in the type of control
used for the list control for the playlist. I don't know what is used now,
but previously a standard "SysListView32" control was used. Unfortunately,
the PotPlayer developer seams not willing to revert it to a standard
control, probably due to better performance and functionality of this new
type of control in comparison with "SysListView32".

Also, if you go to PotPlayer Preferences -> Accessibility, you can configure
if the player should output via SAPI5/OneCore or via the currently running
screen reader (via UIA) things like on-screen messages, subtitles and
tooltips from the skin controls. In my opinion, that is very useful,
specially for the on-screen messages and the subtitles (the tooltips from
the skin controls are read by NVDA without this function, if NVDA is
configured to read tooltips via its Settings -> Object Presentation).

I hoped to test it and give you some feedback, but Chrome isn't
my
default browser hence I'm not comfortable with it to test
something there right now.
Also I never even installed an extension on this browser, so...

Looking forward to see this one in Firefox, and my apologies if
I'm asking too much. Take your time :)

I'm looking towards doing much more than this, please contact
me or reply to this thread if you want to get help with
something accessibility wise or have any kind of feedback.

information as the system version does.  It must be the skin overlay that is
the root of the accessibility problem.

Works like a charm after tweaking that setting (or at least the
menu does).  I restarted the player even though it didn't force me to do
so.

Re: Free captcha solving chrome extension

Hi
I saw this error on two computer. one has avira installed, and other has caspersky anti virus. The computer has avira anti virus is at my office so I just remove the program and install extention. Other one is from my friend's office, and I ask him to disable or remove the program, and he didn't give featback. Thus, if you use third party anti virus program, try disabling it before install.
Hope that help
