Re: Nvda and Language Esperanto

Hi Gene,
It seems to be rather in order. I write in dic a punctuacion and then the eqivalent in Esperanto. But there is a problem: How to write the Carriage return? I think, that I must write the words, because for them does not exist a punctuation? Jarek Dne 02.06.2019 v 14:13 Gene napsal(a):

Sent: Sunday, June 2, 2019 7:50 AM To: nvda@nvda.groups.io Subject: [nvda] Is there a search all command for NVDA?
Dear listers, I know we have NVDA F7 to bring up the: links list dialog and from there we can change it to headings etc.
I was wondering though, is there such a NVDA or even a global Sent from Mail for Windows 10 command so that you can search a website elements regardless of link, heading etc.
The best way I can describe it, is that if you have used Mac or IOS, I am referring to a feature called: item chooser on those operating systems.
So, does such a feature exists in NVDA or better yet, for Windows 10?
Kind regards
Daniel

Re: Nvda and Language Esperanto
Gene
I don't know how such things are said in
Esperonto. In the speech dictionary, used to change the pronunciation of
whatever you want to change, you can put the punctuation mark in and tell the
dictionary how you want it said. But the problem is that you will then
hear punctuation spoken that way in English as well.
You can get around the problem by having two speech
dictionary files and manually putting the one you want to use in NVDA before you
switch to the language. That isn't automatic, but it would achieve what
you want.

Re: Nvda and Language Esperanto

I think you are saying that you don't want to hear
Esperonto punctuation when you are using another language. Aside from
manually switching dictionary files, I don't know if there is any way to do
that. It sounds like something that would have to be corrected by an NVDA
developer.

It is possible to download Audible apps using iTunes for windows as well. You do not need the audible manager. I also did discover on the net a way of downloading using no program. If I find that article again I’ll post it.

I've never used the Audible app on PC, but I've used the Audible website, audible.com, to make purchases. It works pretty well. I think you can play your books in the Audible library from there, but don't quote me on that. Now, I listen with my Amazon Echo device. Before I got one of those, I was listening on my Victor Reader players. I hope that helps.

Re: Nvda and Language Esperanto
Gene
If reading of punctuation isn't done properly, you
can use the speech dictionary to manually enter the words you want to
hear. That may be enough information, but if you have questions about
using the speech dictionary, ask here.

Nvda and Language Esperanto
Jarek.Krcmar
Hello in the conference Nvda,
I use the Espeak in Nvda, when I need something read in the Language Esperanto. I have found out, that when I have set Esperanto, some keys are in English. For example: Comma, Colon, Dash, Slash, backslash, semi, dot... I would like to read the keys in Esperanto, if possible. Jarek -- Jarek -- Jarek

Re: Has anyone else noticed a change in the behavior of Focus Highlight?

Hello,

The development version of focusHighlight is as follows. https://www.dropbox.com/s/9z3ar6vu116jxzm/focusHighlight-6.1-dev.nvda-addon?dl=0 This version uses nvda.ini. If the following entries are added, it behaves as same as the previous versions. ``` [focusHighlight] [[passthrough]] defaultMode = False thickness = 12 ``` Note that the minimum tested version of this add-on is NVDA 2014.1, however, this snapshot is only tested with the current version of NVDA. The setting GUI is planned as well, but not yet created. The customization work can be discussed at the issue: https://github.com/nvdajp/focusHighlight/issues/3 Regards, -- Takuya Nishimoto nishimotz@... 2019年5月29日(水) 23:19 Brian Vogel <britechguy@...>:
