Just under it is 4 english voices you will need to download

After the mentioned files have been installed you should be

You just need to change your synth to RH voice first then

win+A - open action center

Does this indeed work?

Re: Question About Copying Text
That's not true. Control+C seems to be defined as NVDA shortcut,
that overrides default Windows shortcut, see cursorManager.py:
def script_copyToClipboard(self,gesture):
On the other hand, my workaround bypasses this shortcut and
triggers default windows copy to clipboard behavior.

I believe this is a feature (or a
known problem) of NVDA - all the copy/paste commands in
NVDA operate only on plain text. I just checked with Jaws
- it can preserve formatting and hyperlinks when copying
from browser to Microsoft word. Maybe others can tell
whether this works with narrator.
I think I just found this
workaround for you. If you select text in browser and then
instead of pressing Control+C you press applications
button and in the context menu select copy, then at least
the hyperlinks seem to be preserved. This works for me
when copying from Chrome to MS Word.

Hi. Okay, let me try to explain
this better. I'm taking an online class where there's a
lot of reading. For some of the discussion board posts,
we're supposed to copy and paste the part of the reading

from the reading, they somehow manage to keep the links

formatting and links seem to have been removed. I hope
this helps you understand what I'm trying to do. Thanks.

Hi everyone. I have a question about copying text from webpages or
anywhere that has links. I'm taking online classes, and for the
discussion board assignments, a lot of people are copying text
containing links as part of their posts, somehow keeping the links and
other formatting intact. I've been wanting to copy text that contains
links this way, but when I copy text, all the formatting seems to be
removed. Is their an accessible way to do this? I'm a pretty advanced
computer and NVDA user, so I'm surprised I don't know this. Thanks.

Works fine as a printer using standard Windows print commands.
I like that this printer has dedicated buttons.

However I wouldn't bother.
The combo boxes are still as inaccessible as ever.
The documentation doesn't have a command list, it will run as far back is 17.03 and as current is last nvda.
The documentation seems to just be the really basic readme pulled from github.
Now this is from a user looking at this briefly.
The addon works.
But it may as well be a pile of crap for all it does to me.
I don't know how to work it, there is basically no documentation except for a small description about what it does.
There isn't even a keyboard shortcut list.
If at all possible, I would like to see more than a learn more button labeled on the brother utilities and the iprint software.
There is a combobox on brother utilities but that and iprint are pritty much no gos as far as it matters.
Luckily unless you need to reinstall the driver you never have to bother with this really.
In fact depending on what you are doing, you may never need to bother about any of the brother software for basic tasks, both printing and scanning.
If your router or something changes you can edit the printer address as long as you have set that up yourself and configure it from windows and the web interfaces.
Hopefully you won't need to do that that often.
The software is a bit hit and miss, but then its not a problem because you don't need to use that software for scanning and printing which is about all we will ever need it for.
Anything else and well who knows.
The software for most brother things are just front ends for standard dumb users that want to use it.
The web interface is accessible enough for most users.
If you know how to configure a router then you will know how to use the web interface of any device like this.
The brother printer is like that.

I was able to use all four English voices with NVDA using SAPI5. They are not bad. I do wonder why the NVDA add-ons aren't being seen in the synthesizer list after installation though.

Re: RH Voices NVDA Add-on
Hi, I don't think so. OK you downloaded the addon, the voices you might want to use, install the addon first, do not reboot nvda yet, install all voices you might use then restart nvda and you should see the sinth under the sinth settings page select Rh Voice as the sinth then select the voice if it doesn't show up I do not know why. using alpha and stable as well and the addon and voices work.

Hi
Surely
these are Windows functions and nothing to do with any
screen reader. Copy the text to the clipboard then try
using the “Paste Special” options in MS Word. I believe
it’s on the Home sub-menu.

I believe this is a feature (or a
known problem) of NVDA - all the copy/paste commands in
NVDA operate only on plain text. I just checked with Jaws
- it can preserve formatting and hyperlinks when copying
from browser to Microsoft word. Maybe others can tell
whether this works with narrator.
I think I just found this
workaround for you. If you select text in browser and then
instead of pressing Control+C you press applications
button and in the context menu select copy, then at least
the hyperlinks seem to be preserved. This works for me
when copying from Chrome to MS Word.

Hi. Okay, let me try to explain
this better. I'm taking an online class where there's a
lot of reading. For some of the discussion board posts,
we're supposed to copy and paste the part of the reading
that we want to talk about. When my classmates copy text
from the reading, they somehow manage to keep the links
and other formatting intact. I want to be able to do
this. I'm copying from a web page and pasting it into a
rich text edit field. When I paste the copied text, all
formatting and links seem to have been removed. I hope
this helps you understand what I'm trying to do. Thanks.

Do you needed to see the web format in rich format document.
Or while your students copying text from web they should not copy the

Hi everyone. I have a question about copying text from webpages or
anywhere that has links. I'm taking online classes, and for the
discussion board assignments, a lot of people are copying text
containing links as part of their posts, somehow keeping the links and
other formatting intact. I've been wanting to copy text that contains
links this way, but when I copy text, all the formatting seems to be
removed. Is their an accessible way to do this? I'm a pretty advanced
computer and NVDA user, so I'm surprised I don't know this. Thanks.
