I'm not sure either, but when I used it this last time, I couldn't get it to work for the life of me.

It is a menu driven program. Not sure why cut and paste doesn't work.

Where are you getting these from? If you contact me off list, I could try to look into it. If you could let me know who the publisher is, that would help. kerscher@montana.com Best George

Re: music production with NVDA
Actually that's not true. I use reaper's interface for editing and recording on windows and it is better than audacity any day. I love it and it is rock solid. It has a high learning curve but you can learn it in about 3 or 4 weeks. There is a dedicated reaper list you can look for on groups.io, just look for "RWP." Take care Sarah Alawami, owner of TFFP. . 2019.2.1 - the treeview reading problem in eclipse persists
Alexandre Alves Toco
I suspect it is a side effect caused by na update in Windows because I still have a portable instalation of nvda 2018.4 and it worked before but now it also has the problematic behaviour. Maybe narrator and jaws use a method to access treeview’s information that was not affected by changes in Windows.

Has this worked before i.e. in 2019.1? If so there were some fixes to the Eclipse in 2019.2. It is possible that something regressed along the way.

It would be amazing! But i imagine it would require a lot of agréments. Besides the company is in Brazil. So it would be na international agrément what make things even more difficult. Infact they bought jaws because there is a dealler in Brazil. But I want and need to study at home.

Re: Downloading from YouTube

We need to discuss why the various programs
mentioned either stopped working for the person asking the question, or are
thought to have stopped working. At this point, it may be that any
recommended program will either stop, or appear to stop working, given the first
message. I think it would be best to discuss Pontes Media Downloader
first, since I suspect that is the most widely used program by people on the
list. But others may want to discuss other programs.
Also, I think that soon, it will be asked that the
discussion be moved to the chat list so I hope those who want to participate are
members.

there is a plugin you can use to make reaper more accessible. statements like that are apocryphal at best, and wildly inaccurate at worst. Please people, I implore you to conduct research and use the thing before you pass judgement and make groce generalised statements like that in the future.

BrailleConnect 40 Query
Ivan pivac
Hi List,
I have been using a BrailleConnect 40 display with NVDA as this display was one of the displays under the Braille option. In recent releases of NVDA, the BrailleConnect 40 is no longer on the list. The HumanWare Brailliant is available but not a substitute for the BrailleConnect 40. I have tried using auto detect and brltty as an option to connect to the display but without success. I have selected USB as my preferred connection type and had installed the Baum USB driver which previously worked with NVDA. The display is working just fine via BlueTooth on my iPhone so I know the display is functioning okay. I would appreciate any thoughts the list may have as to what other options I can try to re-install and use the BrailleConnect 40. Many thanks Ivan

Re: Using FileZilla for FTP
Gene
I don't use the current version, mine is rather
old. My understanding is, however, that the current version is accessible,
though perhaps not quite as accessible as some older versions. I use my
version with NVDA.
You don't say what you are doing, uploading
something, downloading something, nor whether you can successfully log into the
server. And we don't know the procedure you are following for uploading or
downloading.
There are other FTP clients blind people use but I
haven't used any.

What do you mean by Ponts stopped working. It works fine
here, both 2.x and 3.x versions. Please give details. If the program
generally had stopped working, I'd have seen lots of discussion on various lists
I follow. We need to try to figure out why it isn't working in your
case.
