I haven't used it but it is a part of NVDA.
Others will have to discuss it.

Are you talking about in Internet Explorer?
That is the information bar and doesn't apply to Chrome or Fireffox. I
don't know if it applies to the soon to be replaced Edge.

Re: Donating via FB campaign
Quentin Christensen
Hi Robert, Thanks for your support! Unfortunately at this time, donating directly through Facebook is only available for charities registered in a handful of countries. NV Access is registered in Australia and reading https://www.facebook.com/help/1251484118194936 confirms Australia is not yet on the list. I don't know what facebook's rollout plans for this feature are so I can't give you a possible timeline of when it might be available. In the meantime, your best option for donating is via https://www.nvaccess.org/support-us/#donation-support - we use PayPal because they're well known and have low fees compared to most methods. You don't need a PayPal account to donate however, you can use the system with a credit card without logging in to a PayPal account. There are also bank transfer details on the page, but please check the international transfer fees with your bank first as they tend to eat up quite a large proportion of most transfers. (I appreciate those current donation options likely won't fit with being able to donate directly through Facebook - we'll certainly look at it again when it becomes available to Australian charities). Kind regards Quentin.

If you are able to share the file with me personally offlist (I won't share it further), I can have a look and see what I can learn from it - as well as being in the middle of writing the "Microsoft PowerPoint with NVDA" training material, I am also filing lots of issues (or confirming existing issues) in both our own issue tracker - https://github.com/nvaccess/nvda/issues and with Microsoft. During this process, while I can work my way through all the features of the software, it's always good to get some real world examples like yours which demonstrate the interesting ways those features are used. Kind regards Quentin.

I'm not sure if you can see them again. Every
now and then, I've looked around but I often haven't found them. I wonder
if they can be heard in speech history. If speech is interrupted by new
speech, I wonder if everything that would have been spoken is in speech
history.

Re: Track Changes, The NVDA Manual?
As Joseph said, switch to Browse mode, then hit A to cycle through all annotations. The elements list is best for reading comments. I have yet to find a good keyboard shortcut to delete comments though. Microsoft's track changes article helps a lot but I feel as if I am doing too much navigating and not enough action is being taken. It would help if you added some stuff in the quick access bar, at the very top, or bottom, of the ribbon.

Donating via FB campaign
Each month, on my author page via Facebook, I run a campaign to donate to a non-profit. My most successful was the one where I was giving to, we need diverse books. At the start of 2020, I'd like to run a campaign for NV Access. But, when I look for a non-profit to donate to, NV Access isn't there at all. Are their any plans to add yourselves to the Facebook donation pool in the future?

Hi,

The fastest way to move through annotations like comments and track changes is by pressing letter A (for annotations) and Shift+A to move backward (in browse mode). Cheers, Joseph

Re: Where I can find the latest version of Winamp?
The only issues I have had with winamp is after or during seeking through sid and nsf and other chip files that probably don't support it as such winamp will crash. If playing files with non standard headers in standard wav output mode winamp will crash to. If you need to play a large number of files like that using direct sound or wasapi will fix that though playing a large number of files will eventually crash the program. To be honest, if you have a series of plugins and such and are happy with 5.666 there is probably no real reason to bother upgrading to 5.8. The only reason 5.8 is out is it was leaked by others and radiognome decided to just put it out there instead. Winamp 6 is taking ages and the winamp community project or wacup has winamp 5.666 as their own animal now which will compete with winamp. However they only use the last official aol released version of 5.666 as base. If you don't have a configuration like a lot of those that had winamp before its shutdown a few years ago, you may want to use wacup which has everything in it. I'd kill the zip plugin though as that will open all zip files to play things and while I see why you would do it, just like in vlc, by default windows will open zip files in winamp which is no good for normal use. Saying that even though I havn't and probably won't I would encourage those that want it to use fubar or something. Pritty much all development on winamp has stopped including plugins mainly because everyone is waiting for winamp 6. If you have a stable plugin configuration and backups of it and it just worked I wouldn't do that either. If winamp has something it doesn't like it will crash. I had to throw out several older plugins because they were crashing winamp. I have to have a couple module plugins installed to because not everything plays with newer open mpt so I need to use bassmod to for example. I havn't gone the wacup root but if anything else breaks I may have to do so. The best winamp versions mind you are 5.3 or even 2.95 which used older systems anyway but if you stream stuff it will not be the best for you.

I just checked and the add-on is in the stable
add-ons section of the site. Since it isn't in the legacy add-ons section,
that may mean that it is compatible with the current NVDA. others may
comment who know a lot more about that. You may want to try the earlier
Winamp to see if the add-on works but you may want to wait for other
comments.

Re: Accessing alerts on webpages

What browser are you using? It is the browser
that displays these kinds of alerts in certain places, whether they originate
from the browser or the web page. If you let the entire message speak and
don't interrupt it, you should hear choices with commands for them like allow,
alt a don't allow, alt d. I made up those choices and letters but I make
sure to listen to all speech and pay very close attention to the choices and
commands.
I'm not sure if and how you see these things after
they have spoken. If an unfamiliar message occurs, unless you know it is
of no interest, don't stop it and pay very close attention to see if any choices
and commands are given if the message is that kind of message.
