Ok so I tried the incert ctrl plus f command. That works but if there’s a combo box to show previous search strings I can’t seem to find them.

I never use the bundled VPN apps as they can be rendered inaccessible
with software updates. If you use windows built in VPN client or open
VPN which most if not all VPN's support these days, you will be fine as
both approaches are accessible.

Sorry if this has been covered before, but I notice that when I'm reading the list of folders in my inbox (Outlook, Office 365), in Jaws, it tells me how many unread messages there are in the folder. NVDA doesn't do this, to my knowledge. If it can say the total number of unread messages the way Jaws does, please can someone tell me how to make it do so? It's particularly useful when, say, I come back from holiday to hundreds of messages, as it tells me when the backlog is cleared.

The last version of Thunderbird that reads the status line and the read/unread status of messages properly is 60.9 or 60 something.

A screen search is using something such as in JAWS, the JAWS cursor to
search the current screen. NVDA has no way to do this without using an

I don't know the answer to the original question. I played with the add-on
briefly and I didn't see such an option, but also, I wasn't looking, though
I doubt it's there. I would suggest keeping a record in something like
Notepad of previous search strings. You may have to type them manually
there, but that may be the only way to do what you want to do.

dialogue box comes up enter in your search term. there is also a combo box
that will tell you your last 20 searches etc Can not remember if they can be
