Re: Copy Command Not Echoed
Gene
Is it updated, or will it be, for the new
forthcoming NVDA version? The Clipspeak page doesn't show anything for a
new version under development and the compatibility information
says:
2018.3 to 2019.3.
What does that mean? Does that mean the
add-on doesn't need any additional work to remain compatible with the soon to be
released version of NVDA?

Glad you got it working. Do let us know if you have any issues with the RC itself.

Yes: https://addons.nvda-project.org/addons/clipspeak.en.html
I would also suggest that when people want to know whether there's an NVDA add-on that they might want to look at the NVDA Add-Ons Page to find out - FIRST. That's why it exists. -- Brian - Windows 10 Pro, 64-Bit, Version 1909, Build 18363 Power is being told you're not loved and not being destroyed by it. ~ Madonna

Accessibility issue with debotnet
William
Hi,
debotnet is an open source software that can configure to enhance the security and privacy of win 10, and can perform some specific tasks that is not straight forward under win 10. When I use the app I came across with accessibility issue, and reported to the authoer on github. However the author stated that /she has no idea on how to address this issue. I here post the respective issue link, https://github.com/mirinsoft/debotnet/issues/25#issuecomment-581394577 anyone know how to explain to software author on how to fix these accessibility issue.

Re: can't read the what's new from the help menu

Well I got it to work by telling windows what browser to use.
Some times windows doesn't know your default browser. I want to
thank every one on this list for all your help. Every one was
correct.

Copy Command Not Echoed
Glenn / Lenny
Hi All,
Although I too find this to be an annoyance, a
friend of mine is constantly bothered by it, so he asked me to see if there is a
work-around for this.
This is of course, when you do control + C, it says
nothing, and you don't really know if your text was copied until you try pasting
it elsewhere.
Is there an add-on or a way to make this speak when
something gets put into the clipboard?
Thanks.
Glenn

Hi everyone,
The release candidate (RC) build of NVDA 2019.3 is now available for testing. We encourage all users to download this RC and provide feedback. This is a release candidate for NVDA 2019.3. Unless any critical bugs are found, this will be identical to the final 2019.3 release.

Re: can't read the what's new from the help menu
Gene
What happens when you follow a link in an e-mail or type an Internet
address in the run dialog and open a web page in that way? I have always
found that help information in NVDA opens using the default browser. If
previous versions of NVDA work properly in this respecgt and this one doesn’t,
then there may be a problem with what NVDA does. If not, and if other
things I’ve discussed don’t work properly, then there is a ;problem with Windows
not knowing which browser is the default.

Joseph Lee's add-ons and NVDA 2019.3: release schedule for next add-on releases in preparation for 2019.3 stable
Hi all,
NVDA 2019.3 RC (release candidate) was declared, one of the final betas that will be identical to upcoming NVDA 2019.3 stable release unless critical issues emerge. Therefore I hereby announce the schedule for add-on releases from me that are NVDA 2019.3 compatible (or requires NVDA 2019.3):
As for other add-ons such as Resource Monitor, no 20.02 releases for them at the moment; note that all of them require NVDA 2019.3.
Special notice for DictationBridge users: version 1.1, compatible with NVDA 2019.3, will be released by end of this week.
Related to this: if you visit community add-ons website and select any of my add-ons, you’ll see a link to download an older release supporting NVDA 2019.2.1 or earlier. These links will be removed 30 days after NVDA 2019.3 stable version is released.
Cheers, Joseph
